This small eatery at the first floor of the new Raffles Medical centre about 100m from Holland Village mrt is aptly placed for healthy people 🙂 it doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food was pretty good!
We ordered a Salmon Salad ($10.90), which has smoked salmon, a small egg, cheese, quinoa, cherry tomatoes and edamame atop a bed of leaves.
This was delicious and about enough for one person who is not hungry.
For dessert was the medium Haakon Classic Acai Bowl ($7.90).
I think it would have been better served in a bowl, as per its name, instead of in a cup, as it was not easy to reach the different layers.
Acai layered over a chia parfait and served with blueberries, banana and strawberry slices as well as a tiny bit of coconut flakes and granola. When we started on it after the salad, it was a little melted, but still quite good.
Then we tried the coffee, which has a choice of three alternative milks! 🙂 coconut mylk (+ 90 cents), soy mylk (+ 90 cents) and almond mylk (+ $1.50). My friend had the soy cappuccino and I the large coconut mylk cappuccino and we both enjoyed it.
My huge, huge cup! (:
We both like it and will return (:
