Finally had time to try Teppei’s small new outlet at the food basement of Ion Orchard! 🙂
It sells diy kaisen don/salad, croquettes, rice bowls and onigiri. There are not many seats, perhaps about 20, most of which were occupied when we reached around 7pm. Quite a few people were ordering takeout.
We decided on the diy bowls 🙂 it was great being able to choose what seafood we wanted, although I felt the ikura was not worth the premium top-up of $3.80 and made the bowl pretty pricey ($19.60 in total) for a tiny eatery in a food hall.
My friend added edamame for 80 cents.
There are cute placemats provided, which you can later fold into hearts (:
I think I prefer the other outlets, but this would be a great place if you are very specific about the seafood you want.
